“It depends” is technically true, and also not very useful when you are trying to build a budget. So here is the more specific answer: what a wedding venue costs at Magnolia Estate depends mainly on your date and which venue you choose, and once you know those two things, the rest of the picture gets a lot clearer.
What Every Rental Actually Includes
Before comparing numbers, it helps to know what you are getting for them. Every Magnolia Estate rental, at either venue, includes a private outdoor ceremony area with a backup plan for weather, a spacious indoor reception hall with tables and chairs, dressing suites for the day, and a cocktail patio with a built-in bar. Magnolia Estate is BYOB with a licensed and insured bartender, and our in-house event staff is on-site the entire day to help everything run on schedule. None of that is an add-on. It is simply what comes with the venue.
What Actually Moves the Price: Day, Season, and Venue
The three biggest factors in your rental cost are which day you book, what season it falls in, and which venue you choose. Tuesday through Thursday, both venues run the same rate: $1,995 for four hours up to $3,995 for 14 hours. Weekends are where they diverge. A 10-hour Friday runs about $5,295 at the Magnolia Barn versus roughly $6,995 at Rosewood Manor, and a 10-hour Saturday runs about $6,295 at the Barn versus about $7,995 at the Manor. Sunday is generally the lowest-cost weekend day at either venue. Rosewood Manor also offers dedicated off-season pricing from mid-November through mid-April, with rates running roughly $3,995 to $5,495 depending on hours. Additional hours beyond your package run $250 to $400 depending on the venue. If your date is flexible, moving off a Saturday, considering the Barn over the Manor, or booking in the off-season are the three most direct ways to lower your total cost. Coordination and Décor: The Add-On Most Couples End Up Loving
Beyond the venue rental itself, most couples add some level of coordination support. Day of Coordination starts at $1,995 and covers two planning meetings, a full timeline and diagram, and coordination of your rehearsal, ceremony, reception, and vendors. Our more comprehensive Coordination & Décor package runs $3,495 and adds four more planning meetings, a linen package, and access to our on-site décor inventory, including centerpieces, signage, arches, and faux florals. So What Should You Actually Budget?
As a rough starting point, a Tuesday through Thursday wedding with Day of Coordination can land well under $4,000 for the venue and coordination combined at either venue, while a peak-season Saturday at Rosewood Manor with the full Coordination & Décor package will land considerably higher before catering, photography, and other vendors are added in. Those two numbers, venue and coordination, are the ones you can pin down earliest, which makes it much easier to plan the rest of your budget around them.
