Two spaces, one property, and two genuinely different ways to say “I do.”
One of the first questions couples ask once they realize Magnolia Estate has two venues is a good one: which one is actually right for us? There is no wrong answer here, just two different atmospheres built for two different visions. Here is how to think it through.
The Magnolia Barn: Modern Rustic, Done Right

The Magnolia Barn is open, bright, and built with intention. A real exposed brick wall, soaring ceilings, and large windows let natural light pour into the reception hall, and the space sits on a hilltop with panoramic views that make for dramatic sunset photos. The neutral, white barn aesthetic is also genuinely easy to decorate around, so whatever color palette or theme you have in mind tends to fit right in. It is the space couples choose when they want warmth and energy without losing the polish, casual but never careless.
Rosewood Manor: Classic Elegance With Southern Character

Rosewood Manor leans traditional and refined. Southern-inspired architecture, a split staircase built for a grand entrance, and elegant chandeliers set a formal, timeless backdrop, and outdoors you will find an arbor, two fountains, and a gentle stream running through natural woodland. If your vision includes a sweeping staircase moment, a first look under chandeliers, or a more classic, black-tie feel, this is usually the space that clicks.
Same Support, Different Scale, Different Feeling
Here is what does not change between the two. Both include a private ceremony area with a backup plan for weather, a cocktail patio with a built-in bar, dressing suites, and an in-house event team on-site for your entire day. Magnolia Estate is also an open vendor venue at either location, so you can bring in the people you already trust, and the coordination and décor packages work identically no matter which venue you book.
What does shift a little is size and cost. The Magnolia Barn comfortably hosts up to 200 guests, while Rosewood Manor can host up to 250, and rates differ slightly between the two, mostly on weekends. If budget is a deciding factor alongside style, our Pricing page breaks down current rates for both venues side by side.
Questions Worth Asking Yourself First
A few questions tend to make the decision clearer. Do the photos you have been saving lean toward exposed brick and warm, natural light, or chandeliers and a grand staircase? Do you picture your ceremony outdoors against a hilltop barn view, or near a fountain and woodland arbor? Is your guest list closer to an intimate gathering, or will you need a bigger room to work with? None of these have a right answer, just a more honest one once you picture the actual day.
The Best Way to Decide: Walk Both Spaces
Photos help, but they rarely settle it. Most couples know within a few minutes of walking through the door which space feels like theirs, and since both venues sit on the same property, touring both takes one afternoon, not two separate trips. Our FAQ and Policies page covers the logistics questions that tend to come up on a first visit, so it is worth a quick read before you come.
