Our Story

Every great venue has an origin story. Ours is a little more personal than most.

Tina and Julio Sr. learned firsthand what a fragmented wedding day felt like — ceremony in one place, reception somewhere else entirely. So they did something about it. They sketched out a vision on a bar napkin, found the land, and got to work.

The Magnolia Barn came first: a tin roof, a gazebo, and a dream. Four events the first year. Then ten, then thirty. Now over a hundred every year, and a venue that’s grown into something they couldn’t have imagined on that original napkin.

Rosewood Manor came next, designed around the grandeur of the American South — the staircases, the balconies, the sense of occasion. Two venues, one property, built by a family who knew exactly what a great wedding day should feel like.

Two Venues. One Seamless Experience.

What makes Magnolia Estate truly unique isn’t just that it has two venues — it’s that both were built from the ground up, with purpose, by the same family.

Each has its own story, its own character, and its own journey to becoming what it is today. Both started as a vision and were shaped over time into something worth celebrating in.

The Magnolia Barn began as a tin roof, a gazebo, and a dream. As the venue grew, so did the vision — the exposed brick, the industrial garage doors, the sweeping windows were all added as the family saw where wedding design was heading and moved to get there first. The rest, as they say, is history — over a hundred weddings a year worth of it.

Rosewood Manor was born from a different kind of journey. Tina, Julio, and the family traveled through Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, and Tennessee studying the grand southern estates that inspired it — the sweeping staircases, the balconies, the chandeliers — and brought every bit of that elegance back to Ohio.

No matter which space you choose, the experience is the same: intentional design, thoughtful flow, and a team that’s been building this for over a decade.

Our Team

Magnolia Estate is a family-owned business, and that shows up in everything we do — from the way we designed the spaces to the way we show up for every couple who celebrates here. Every member of our team brings something genuine to this work, and we’re proud to introduce them.

Built Over Time, Designed With Intention

What started as a sketch on a bar napkin has grown into one of Ohio’s most established wedding properties. Tina and Julio Sr. Gonzalez built Magnolia Estate the way they wished their own wedding had been planned: with everything in one place, designed by people who cared about the details, run by family who understood what a wedding day should feel like.
The same family still runs it today. Every detail you see was shaped over time. The exposed brick and sweeping windows of the Magnolia Barn. The grand staircase and southern-inspired architecture of Rosewood Manor. The outdoor pergola alongside the babbling creek. Some of it was planned from the beginning. Some of it came from listening to couples and refining what works.
Along the way, the property has been recognized with The Knot Hall of Fame Award and the Buckeye Building Award, and it now hosts more than a hundred weddings and events every year. The part that has not changed is the family at the center of it, and the belief that started this whole thing: a wedding day should feel like yours, not a logistics puzzle.

More Than A Venue

Everything we do at Magnolia Estate is guided by three principles — the same ones this business was built on, and the same ones our team brings to every couple we work with today.

They shape how we design our spaces, how we communicate with our couples, and how we show up on the most important day of your life. From your first tour to your last dance, these values are present in every conversation, every decision, and every detail we get right along the way.

It’s not just how we do business. It’s who we are.

A Setting That Feels Effortless

From the moment you arrive, Magnolia Estate is designed to feel calm, welcoming, and elevated.

The property offers a blend of natural beauty and refined spaces, creating a backdrop that feels both polished and relaxed.

It’s the kind of setting where your guests feel taken care of, your timeline flows naturally, and your day unfolds without unnecessary friction.

Every element, from layout to lighting, has been considered with intention, so you can focus less on logistics and more on the experience itself.

Built for Real Moments

While the design is beautiful, what matters most is how the space feels when it’s filled with people.

Magnolia Estate was created for real moments:

  • The quiet anticipation before your ceremony
  • The energy of a full dance floor
  • The in-between conversations you’ll remember just as much as the big milestones

For Couples Who Want More Than Just a Pretty Space

Magnolia Estate is for couples who care about the experience as much as the aesthetic.

You want a space that looks beautiful but also works beautifully.

You want a team and environment that support your vision, not complicates it.

And you want a wedding day that feels intentional, not overwhelming.

That’s exactly what this property was created to offer.
